Review of this week

This week, we had planned to focus all of our lessons on editing our video. About half way through the editing, I raised some concerns with my group regarding the "wow-factor" of our opening sequence because, in my opinion, it wasn't looking as tense and exciting as I had originally hoped it would be. In light of this, we booked the drama studios on Tuesday, to use at Thursday Lunchtime. Unfortunately though, the studio was being used for something else, so we instead decided to film the new scenes on a staircase nearby.
It was my idea to add some flash-back scenes to our opening sequence, in order to give the final piece more depth. With the addition of flash-backs, the viewer is able to get a much better idea of what the events of the film are caused by, as well as giving the piece a much more dramatic and tense effect.
(Thank you to Sam H. for being our victim - and for making his second cameo appearance in a Team Timing media film)
So now it is Friday, our deadline day, and we are just piecing together the final pieces of our film, and editing all the clips so that they flow perfectly and make our final project look professional and dramatic!
