Review of this week

Tuesday 4th February

Today we spent the lesson in an empty corridor and an empty office/conference room, where we re filmed the in-school sections of our opening sequence. We did this because the first time we filmed, the characters were not fully briefed or wearing the correct costumes. We also only had one guard this time around, to make the opening sequence seem more lonely.

Wednesday 5th February

In today's lesson we started to upload all of the clips that we had got so far onto the Apple Macs and we began to edit them together. After school, Dom, Lester and I went over to the apex, where we were able to get all of the apex filming done, as the rainhad temporarily seased.

Thursday 6th February

In today's lesson we focussed solely on getting the editing of our clips done, ready for a review on our work so far, which will happen in tomorrow's lesson.

Friday 7th February

Today, we had our opening scene reviewed. below are a list of targets that I think we need to meet in order for our opening sequence to improve, these targets are a mix of both teacher comments and our own findings from a video about opening titles:
  • Speed up the middle section of the sequence, as it currently runs too slowly.
  • Pay more attention in making the middle and ending of the sequence as eerie and suspensful as the beginning.
  • Film the remaining sections of the film.
  • Make sure the titles reflect the genre (phsycological thriller).
